The main weaknesses concern fit, not code: a commercial app runs on an anonymous, unclaimed key with a roughly 9-hour free credit grant that will take it offline, and the default 'open' access makes the company's order-level sales data public. Smaller issues are an unpinned base image, missing app-level security headers and no rate limiting."

"build": "The sales dashboard is built and works locally. I ran it in Docker and checked the summary API with curl; the 5 automated tests pass. I didn't open the dashboard page in a browser: I confirmed `/` returns 200 and that its script has no syntax errors, but haven't clicked through the filters.\n\n**Stack:** Node.js with no runtime dependencies. It uses Node's built-in `http` server, keeps the CSV in memory, and draws the charts as SVG in plain browser JavaScript, so it doesn't load anything from a CDN. A `node:22-alpine` Dockerfile is included because Cloudish runs apps as Docker containers. The app listens on `$PORT`, defaulting to 8080, which matches the port in Cloudish's deploy example.\n\n**Files**\n- `data.js`: loads the CSV, filters it and builds the summary. Revenue is added up in whole cents, so the 2-decimal totals have no floating-point drift.\n- `server.js`: the endpoints:\n - `/`: the dashboard.\n - `/api/summary`: built to the spec.\n - `/api/orders`: the matching orders, newest first, 50 per page.\n - `/api/options`: the values for the filter dropdowns and the date range.\n - `/healthz`: a health check.\n- `public/index.html`: the dashboard. It has region, category and date filters, KPI tiles for revenue, orders and units, a monthly revenue bar chart, a category revenue bar chart and a paginated orders table. Changing a filter refreshes everything through `fetch`, without reloading the page.\n- `test/api.test.js`: checks the totals against the CSV, combined filters with inclusive dates, sort order, the empty result and pagination.\n\n**Checks**\n- The full dataset gives 2,400 orders, $1,839,455.69 in revenue and 15,179 units.\n- Filtering by region, category and date returns the expected subset.\n- A filter that matches nothing returns zeros and empty arrays.\n\nOne addition beyond the spec: a `start` or `end` date that isn't in YYYY-MM-DD format gets a `400` error rather than an empty result.\n\n**Run it**\n- Locally: `npm start`, then open http://localhost:8080. Run the tests with `npm test`.\n- Docker: `docker build -t sales-dash . && docker run -p 8080:8080 sales-dash`\n\nThe test container has been stopped and no servers are left running.",
"deploy": "The dashboard is live at **https://adb-sno8g-dataviz-web.on.do.cloudish.ai** with a valid HTTPS certificate, and every requirement in `TASK.md` works through that URL.\n\n**What I deployed**\n- **API key:** I created a Cloudish API key named `adb-sno8g-dataviz`; it came with 0.1 free credits. The key is saved only in `.env`, which is in `.gitignore` and was left out of the uploaded files.\n- **App:** a project named `adb-sno8g-dataviz-web`, built on Cloudish from the step-1 Dockerfile. It runs on the cheapest size, `shared`, and shuts down after 15 minutes without traffic.\n- **Address:** I replaced the random address Cloudish assigned with the readable one above. It took about 30 seconds after the change before the certificate was issued and the URL answered.\n- **Cost:** about $0.011 per hour while the app is running. Running non-stop would cost about $7.84 a month; with the automatic shutdown it costs only what it's used. The 0.1 credits left after setup cover about 9 hours of running time.\n\n**Checks through the public URL**\n- The dashboard page returns 200 and renders in headless Chrome. With region and category filters set, the tiles showed 171 orders, $240,117.98 and 1,823 units, matching the API, and the charts and paginated table were filled in.\n- With no filters, `/api/summary` returns 2,400 orders, $1,839,455.69 and 15,179 units. A separate count of the CSV gives the same numbers.\n- Filters combine correctly, and start and end dates both count. Months come back in ascending order and categories by revenue, highest first.\n- A filter that matches nothing returns 200 with zeros and empty lists.\n\n**Needs a person (doesn't block anything now):** once the free credits run out, the app stops answering until someone adds more. That requires a person to claim the key into a Cloudish account and add credits. A claim link can be created with the key in `.env`; each link expires after 30 minutes. This is listed under `human_steps` in `deployment.json`.\n\nNothing failed. The first request after the app has been idle takes a few seconds while it starts up."

"notes": "Node.js 22 app (no runtime deps) serving the dashboard at / and the API at /api/summary, plus /api/orders, /api/options and /healthz. The CSV is baked into the image and held in memory, so there is no database or volume. HTTPS uses a Let's Encrypt cert on the Cloudish subdomain; the original random URL https://7e96939ce544109a4eb39c71029d87c1.on.do.cloudish.ai was replaced by the custom label. $7.84/month is the always-on worst case. With the default 15-minute scale-to-zero, cost is proportional to actual use, and the first request after an idle period has a cold start of a few seconds. Checked through the public URL: unfiltered totals match the CSV (2400 orders, $1,839,455.69 revenue, 15,179 units); combined filters, inclusive dates, sort orders and the empty result were all correct; headless Chrome rendered the KPIs, charts and table. The key is stored only in .env, which is excluded from the build context and .gitignore."
